Thanks for this Sonnie! It's an interesting read. I agree with you that the "3 new roles" fall under strategic HR role. As a matter of fact, workforce planning is not even new. It is one of the first and primary requirements in playing strategic HR role. It is fairly difficult to be strategic if HR does not understand the company's workforce requirements in the first place.

Social networks are just sections of the World Wide Web, which is also just one of the components of Information and Communication Technology that is the backbone/framework for any professional practitioner in any functional area in the business, government, NGO, religious, etc. sectors of any particular society on the planet.

Reason dictates that professional practitioners, especially those who are involved with "Human Interface" in whatever context, should avail of all possible tools, in order to enhance the probability of success in performing contractual obligations and commitments, regardless of the nature of the contract involved.

Social networks, which are designed exactly for "networking among humans all over the planet" within parameters that can be defined at the end of each and every user, should not be ignored by HR practitioners, at the very least.

The degree of application of social networks will be subject to value judgments over specific contexts of individual HR practitioners.

Excellent , igniting sharing.
As a person with little acamedic knowledge in physics, psychology and management, this research work on SQ is quite thought provoking and interesting to me.
In fact as a trainer and coach I do stongly believe that people who lived their purpose are the ones who are capable of unfolding the unknown zone and explore the innate ability to discover their unconscious script and live it. I am interested in colloborating in the further research work on this topic.
