In my opinion, individuals, like a company, must have a lifestyle of social responsibility.
And with the upcoming holiday break due to Lenten observation in the Philippines, I am taking this opportunity to return something to the corporate community by conducting a series of FREE learning sessions about “Spiritual Intelligence“. This will only take about 1-2 hours and 6 slots were allotted, 2 each from Monday to Wednesday [March 29-31,2010].
As of this writing though, of the 6 slots, 3 has been taken and a fourth company is finalizing it’s schedule. Surprisingly, scores of individuals are also asking if they can join any of the available sessions. On a different schedule, we may hold similar session for individual participants if the companies can not accommodate them.

The death of former President Cory Aquino and the tribute the traditional media is attributing her brought back memories of EDSA 1986 and igniting the fire of nationalism inside me. As a 17 year old idealistic young man, 1st year college and unhappy with the social injustices around me but not qualified yet to vote in a national election at that time, I joined the protest rallies that advocates democracy and removal of the alleged dictator.

It’s a privilege to be invited, together with another 5 bloggers, to have round table discussion with Sen. Manny Villar at Bo’s Coffee, Boni High Street.
This is the 3rd time I was invited to meet with a Presidentiable. First with Sen. Mar Roxas, 2nd with MMDA Chair Bayani Fernando, but I begged off because of conflict in schedule, and this meet up with Sen. Manny Villar.
When invited then by the group of Mr. Palengke, I’m a bit hesitant because I am not into political blogging, but heck, I will vote for a new President on 2010 and It’s only proper to get to know them up-close , to make an intelligent choice
With the 3 hour meeting, the blogger’s took time to ask questions and know MV, the man, his principles and what he can offer to the republic.
