You 2.0 [1]: Web 2.0 and Personal Branding
I have discussed on my previous posts how web 2.0 can enhance your personal brand, it helped me, and I firmly believe it can help you too =D

Before we proceed, however, since there are notably new subscribers who are not familiar with the potential of web 2.0, I find it proper to just bring us all together in the same understanding. Thus, we will revisit web 2.0 and rebuild our foundation.

And now, the nose bleed part, the technical definition of web 2.0.
The advent of web 2.0 has changed the landscape of social connections and flow of information. Web 2.0 can be a tool for marketing. A few have not crossed over to accept web 2.o but most have embraced this, unfortunately, not adding value to the time and resources they spent when blogging and facebooking.
With a few strokes on the keyboard and with the help of Google and Yahoo, you can promote and market yourself, your brand. By building your “friends” in your facebook, friendster and multiply account. You will gain access to career and business opportunites thru their contacts, and same people can have a preview also of your brand- who you are, what you are made of and what you can bring to the table.
