Good News 2.0

The ministry of the great commission is entrusted to as all, thus, whenever possible, sharing the love and grace we received from God should be part of our life objectives.

Because of this, timely to the upcoming Lenten Season, I have offered my services for free to hold sessions on “Spiritual Intelligence“, for 1-2 hours, on the week of Holy Week [March 29-31, 2010].  As of this writing, of the 6 slots available, 3 has been taken and a fourth  company is finalizing it’s schedule. Surprisingly,  scores of individuals are also asking if they can join any of the available sessions. Looks like God is opening doors, I pray that more than the planting of seed, we can make disciples in the workplace.

Regardless of what happened on 2009, God is in control! And 2010 will be a better year as long as we stay in the LORD =)

As shared with you in my last post, after the revival meetings, I also joined in the 3 day fast.

The 1st day of fast, is  a working day. After work,  I catch up with the Friday service. No problem with my body, just  a little dizzy and can’t think clearly.

On the 2nd day, though am physically weak, I rock spiritually as I had a beautiful encounter with God inside the church’s prayer room. It’s beyond description, the feeling is awesome!

I prayed for more of God in my life, for Him to touch my life and change me. Changes that will amaze my family and prompt them to seek God too! Among others, I also prayed for God to protect my love ones from the A(H1N1) virus, and for the HS to bless the work of my hand– to bless my current sources of income as well as open up new ones.

On the 3rd day, I broke my fast because my body did not respond well. I woke up with my world spinning, and I feel like throwing up. Though I ate a little, it did not do any good. I almost did not make it to church. But the weakness on my body was compensated by the spiritual strength. My heart was so sensitive to God’s presence that during the church service, I was laughing and crying at the same time. Enjoying his love and goodness. After eating congee for lunch, I took some meds for dizziness. Nothing serious though, it’s just that my body is tired and weak.

The immediate result of the fast is self discipline. I am looking forward to the miracles and answered prayer as a result of this spiritual exercise.Watch out for my testimony in this blog.
