Blessing of a Tither
Last Saturday, I almost lost my Mac Book.
After a business meeting, I drop by in a mall to inquire about a wireless land line where I can use for my sideline. Since it’s almost lunch time, I looked for something to eat to appease my grumbling stomach. I called home to ask wifey and kids what they want for pasalubong. We agreed to take out some goodies at Goldilocks.
I placed my order, but since there was a long que and people everywhere, I sat for a while in one of the tables and placed my laptop bag containing my Mac beside me. When my number was called, I stood up to get my order then hurriedly left the place, unknowingly leaving behind my Mac, until I reached home.
After I realized my stupidity, I was stunned cold for a minute, I never reached our doorstep, I just asked the kids to get their food. Then drove like crazy back to the mall. I called wifey while driving, then a former office mate who is working on the same mall and share what had happened. I requested my former office mate to kindly do an ocular to check if my Mac is still on sight while driving like a mad man. At the back of my mind, I am calculating the potential lost in peso value, plus the precious files inside the computer. Not to mention the affinity I have with my Mac. While blamestorming with myself, I received a call from my former office mate to share that my Mac is already with him. LOL
It’s like a cold water was poured all over me. I stopped the car, took a deep breath and thank God in prayer.
My former office mate said “when he reached the resto, my laptop bag with my Mac is still on the exact location where I left it!” After more than an hour, no one dared touch the bag in the middle of a crowded resto, in a mall holding it’s seasonal 3 day sale.
I thought, this is a blessing of a tither manifesting. Protection of your assets and sources of income.
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! 11 Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease.[a] Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 12 “Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
Malachi 3:10-12

Indeed, you have no idea the roller coaster ride of my emotion that day. And after the whole matter, wifey delivered her sermonette in the mount. LOL
God is good, He knows of your senior moments…and He hid ur Macbook so that it won’t be a temptation to other people while you hurry back to the mall and get it.
Good for you. This goes to show that people are still, generally, honest.
