Ei, please allow me to share some insights I got from my quiet time, are you cool enough to read thru?
7 Some other seed fell among thorny weeds, which grew and choked the good plants- Matthew 13:7
And what is the seed that fell among the thorny weeds? That seed is like the person who hears the teaching but lets worries about this life and the temptation of wealth stop that teaching from growing. So the teaching does not produce fruit in that person’s life. - Matthew 13:22
This is true to some of us.
We accepted the Word, believed Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. But the worries of living– food on the table, tuition fee for kids, payment for mortgages and other bills prevented us from experiencing the fullness of God’s goodness.

1. Develop a reasonable self-estimate
“…Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function,” [Romans 12:3-4 NLT]
2. Acknowledge differences and accept the contributions of others
“Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part. If the foot says, “I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,” that does not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body? If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything?”
