Sonnie, whose real name is Severo E. Santos, is a micro entrepreneur, consultant and lecturer. He established Business Values 2.0 to pursue his passion: [1] Social Web, [2] People Management and Development and [3] Spiritual Intelligence.
Sonnie has 17 years of corporate experience having started his career in a leading Dermatological Clinic before moving to a giant Retail and Property Management firm where his expertise in Human Resources Management was honed. Before venturing into micro entrepreneurship, his last engagement is with the 2nd leading distributor of German made cars.
From Training Officer, Sonnie moved up the corporate ladder and became an Asst. Vice President for Human Resources.
Sonnie is also a media representative and part of team Blogwatch. He writes for the Philippine Online Chronicles.
On the Social Web community, Sonnie is a 2nd generation blogger. He became active in the social web community after attending iblog2 on 2006. Soon after iblog2, his blog at WordPress.com was awarded a free .com.ph domain by Enthropia, and free hosting by Ploghost.com. This sponsorship is still active up to this day. Likewise, his blog Sonnie’s Porch was one of the finalist of the 1st Philippine Blog Awards under “business” category.
On social responsibility, Sonnie is one of the core members of HR Philippines who provide free lectures, advice and program to entry level HR practitioners.
